Hi,

I am planning on upgrading my simple, and I need some new (longer) rods, can I get them on McMaster-Carr, and if so what exactly do I need to get for both smooth and ACME rods? Or is there someone here who has some (I am going to need like 6x 14-18")?

I actually don't recommend McMaster Carr for smooth rods. Try vxb.com or Misumi USA

I could not find them on VXB.

What kind of rod do I want exactly? There seem to be many choices.

Vxb is in so cal. Misumi is close to the east coast. They both ship the next day.
