Title's ripped off from Fabaloo...
Peachy was the $100 resin based printer on Kickstarter some time back, that raised the better part of a million bucks (US). One of the project creators "borrowed" most of the money and used it to build a house for himself, even admitted it in a video. Well, it looks like he pulled it off. The money was never put back, the cops aren't willing to charge him, and the project has been shut down and the company essentially dissolved. I think we had a Peachy backer or two here at one time.
Buyer beware. Kickstarter's not really a slow delivery shopping mall, although it might be a good way to pay for your new house. Good thing all the Mexican Villa stories during the Printrbot Kickstarter weren't really true (they were satire, at least at that time, the moose quickly adds), although they may have been an inspiration for this project.
