Greetings from the Jersey Shore

Postby John136 » 2014-Nov-Sun-08-Nov

Hello everyone. My son and I offer seminars on building 3D Printers and give demonstrations and talks about the 3D Printer revolution at schools, libraries, maker fairs and corporations. This summer, we got a Printrbot Simple Maker's Kit. It was super easy to assemble and prints great! We also organize and run the 3D Printer Village at the World Maker Faire in NY. We had five of our printers on display this past September, each one a different brand and a mix of factory builds (Cube 3, Ultimaker 2) a Kossel Delta, one of our Prusai3 Seminar Builds and the Printrbot Simple. Each machine was printing constantly all weekend and it was interesting to see how each printed out in the open. We had about 50 thousand people through the Village over the three days and many were intrigued by our variety of machines and successful prints.

I just found this Forum from a post on 3dprintboard and thought I would check in and say Hi! I am excited to see the new Printrbot Metal Plus coming out next week.
