I just had a print go terrible wrong and as a result, filament got pushed up so far under the insulating sleeve it severed the wire to the heating coil. Printrbot is out of stock on all their hot ends. Does anyone have a spare they would be willing to sell?

Now is a good time to look into E3D or other hotends. I'll never use Ubis hotends again.

What does it take to switch? I had thought about switching to another hot end but hadn't investigated what it takes to mount one and what changes to the controller is needed. You have any links or suggestions about it?

You could also fill out a support ticket with Printrbot to see if they'll fulfill an order through there.
