I need help::::
I've been working with 3D printers for over a year. I've had my ups and downs.
I purchased a Printr
My skill level is still improving.
I'm about to bring a beta version of the Xharp to the market place and Have decided to
make all the plastic parts on a 3D printer rather than molds etc.
So here's my thought ....let's find some folks who want to make a few bucks with their printer.
I will pay 10 bucks per part (if quality is acceptable) Each Xharp needs a top and a bottom shell (two parts = $20.
Probably cost you a couple $ in filament and 2.5 hrs.
Rather than go into detail at this point...let's just test the waters and see if anyone wants a little challenge, make a few bucks.

I'm interested if it can be printed in a build volume of 185x, 100y, 160z

I'm assuming that you would have each person give you a matching set of top/bottom parts so that they could prove the parts fit together?

In addition to where to be shipped, who pays for shipping?

Also, what colors? PLA or ABS?

Sorry I haven't got back to you I had to get a replacement printrboard. I really hope this isn't a time sensitive thing. I welcome anyone else who wants to try!

Do you still have this need? I've finally finished my upgrade to my simple to have the volume need to print your part flat...

you can take it on ahear I am little busy, I tried it on kapton tape and coudn't get a good stick, I think the painters tape on your printer would work well.

I tried to print this twice in black PLA so far...

First time I started it, watched the first few layers then went away.
- Came back in three hours and it was a curled up mess

Second time I sliced with a 3mm raft, printed the first few layers, paused, then and used gaffer's tape to really hold down the pads you put in the corner.
- This time the print completed but there was still some curl.

Next time I'm going alter the model so the corner pads run the entire length of the short ends, print the first couple layers then clamp the pads under a metal bar to the bed itself...

I made three prints with PLA and came to the conclusion that I can't print it without curling on my non-heated simple.

Since my main focus has been to increase the print area finding a heating solution for my 14x6 in bed is my new priority...

Is there still a need for this part. I'm almost certain I can get a good print as I've printed a number of items like this in the past. Let me know.

Ok, now that this keeps popping up, I am interested to see if I can even do it. Depending on layer size, I am getting print time estimates from 11 hours to 20 hours, so that's about $0.50 to $1.00/hour. Not interested in doing it for the money, just the challenge...
Is there a specific layer height needed?
