First PB Play Prints!!!

Hi everyone!!,

This is my first post . I thought I would share a couple pictures of my very first, ever printed objects. I have never used a printer or even held a 3D printed object. I have to say after a couple of days of calibration and making 10 or so 3mm squares I am very impressed with the results. The first ever non-box object is the small Maker Bot and the second is the larger one. I used a stock .4mm tip, layer height is .1. Heated bed at 65C, hot-end is at 214C. All the other settings are default with the exception of the M212- Z adjustment. I found for my bot, -.95 worked the best. Let me know what you think!!

Can anyone suggest some setting changes to improve prints? I had a bit of a hard time breaking the joints loose. From the picture it looks a little sloppy in the inside. Maybe cooler hot end temp or slowdown the extruder?

This one is fun to print. I was able to get it working. you can try reducing the flow. i think my best print had a flow factor of 0.8 or 80% of normal. you can also reduce extrusion width and over-laps and other print "micro-structures". I use Kisslicer which has control of a lot of these physical parameters. I think it could be printed to be even looser but I didn't want to waste filament on that.

Thanks for the reply. I will check out Kisslicer! I think my flow rate is at 100%. I'll give is a shot at 80%
