Hi all,
Had what I thought was an equipment failure and got a new hot end for the Simple.
Turns out I made some errors and ended up learning more about how the Ubis 13 is made and used.
Now I have a good used spare.
Not a bad item to keep around.
Kept busy with other aspects of the hobby.
This is a small five volt, 3 watt per channel, class D, stereo amplifier board available from Amazon. It's a bargain!
Used it to replace a big Harmon Kardon AV receiver and it works wonderfully.
Makes plenty of sound.

Now what. Got two of these amps, they need a home.
We know how to do that.

Use two cut down 2-56 screws to hold the board inside the case.
Use four cut down 4-40 screws to hold the case together.

Had it running for the last 24 hours w/o flaws.
It won't get hot and it's small. Less than 10mm thick.
Works like a charm. Real impressed by the sound.
Keep it safe all.
