Is this an object that you designed, or one you downloaded from thingiverse (or somewhere)? If it's downloaded, try repairing it using Netfabb (as suggested in the error message). If you designed it, maybe you need to study how your CAD system works in order to create objects that have a consistent, closed "skin." Sometimes adding two or more component parts together can create an object that looks OK on screen but has hidden flaws because of how it was built. Different CAD programs handle these chores differently, so there's no one answer on how to fix it.
