How can I recreate "webbing" in openSCAD?

Postby erickq » 2015-Jul-Wed-22-Jul

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to openSCAD. What I'm trying to recreate is a smooth webbing from object to object. Sort of like the attached image.

What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks!

I don't know openSCAD, but in most modeling software I believe what you're looking for is the radius feature.

There may (probably is) a better way, but I'd subtract a cylinder from the object where you want the radius. Try the openSCAD forum and let us know what you find out.

There's an openSCAD book author here, perhaps Al will comment.
