I flipped my PB+ Dual Fans around to the top to cool the extruders. I find if I need it to keep them from not getting too hot and bending and pigtailing filament. That was fine for simple parts in ABS, but I'm looking at PETG and PLA and more parts with bridging and overhangs where I could use the fan.
The extruders need air pretty much constantly. I pulled two fans out of an old PC housing
DC12V 1.7W (Bigger)Yellow-Red-Black
DC 12V 0.7A (smaller) White-red-black
All three are set up with connectors on them.
I am completely dumb on electronics. Physical and chemical I can deal with, electrons; no. Like I don't know why there are three wires instead of two.
I have a 400 ATX power supply. I assume I can use one of those connectors to power the fan?
I'm thinking the smaller one; it will be easier to make a housing/attachment for it.
How do I wire this smaller fan up? ELI5
