I haven't done this to my machine at home, but we got a small roll (of Dynamat Extreme, with more goodness, I suppose) for the office machine and it reduced the harshest frequencies quite a bit. I don't have proper sound equipment, but I took some audio recordings before and after and it was a marked improvement.
Basically, I installed it in the two pillars - 9" x 13.5" pieces, as well as inside the bottom and the larger piece that attaches to the print bed rails.
Just curious if:
Anyone else has tried this?
Any methods to quiet down the servos?
I've read a little about reducing the voltage in the firmware, but for a stock printrbot, is this worth the effort?
