Repetier end gcode?

Postby Willy » 2015-Aug-Sat-02-Aug

How can I get repetier to tell me what its end gcode is? I am getting some weird movements that are not consistent. The result is anything from an outright bed crash to it runing what appears to be a G29 and crashing into the print. No, printer is NOT set up with print dump area.

I don't care if you're white, black, red, periwinkle, burnt umber, or chartreuse -- resisting arrest is not a right, it's a crime. And it's never a good idea. ~Mike Rowe

The end G-code is determined by the slicer, not Repetier itself. If you are running a recent version of Repetier, you can be using Slic3r, or the Cura Engine, or possibly Skeinforge as your slicer. So, whichever one you are using to to the slicing, go into the Configuration screen and look for your startup and end codes in there.

Personally, I prefer to do my slicing outside of Repetier, because then I have full visibility of the options while I'm slicing. To work this way, run Slic3r independently of Repetier, load the STL file, and then slice and save the G-code. Then load the saved G-code into Repetier. You can keep Slic3r open, and re-slice with different parameters if you don't like what you see in the preview screen of Repetier.

So much forgotten about repetier. Found the info under the slicer tab, then configuration. Thankyou for the help
