dose anyone have a way to make or now where to get a enclosure for the printrbot metal plus

Do you really want to completely enclose it? For temperature stability? Or so it can be looked at but not touched? Or...?

Any competent custom plastics house could build you a clear 5-sided box of the right size, or 4 sides and a door. If you just want to protect it from casual poking, or just to communicate the "don't touch" concept, you could use a clear riser like , on it's side. (I think 16" is wide enough for the full range of side-to-side.)

8020, Misumi, or similar aluminum extrusion (maybe the 10mm open stuff), plus 6mm birch plywood, and an appropriate sized piece of plexi or acrylic from the big box store. You should be able to whip one off pretty quick.

I'm interested in this too. I'll see about designing an acrylic thing, closed with hinges and magnets and report back here...
