I had some thin brazing rod that fit (.125in.). Left hot end in the Simple, removed the nozzle, cranked the Z axis all the way to the top. Take the tension roller off the extruder(single allen head bolt). Heated the extruder up to 215 and pushed the rod up from the bottom. Brazing rod is a wonderful conductor of heat. WEAR GLOVES. The plastic popped right out. WEAR GLOVES, did I say that?
Reassemble the tension roller. Insert filament and manually extrude a few mm. If it looks good, re-attach the nozzle and manually extrude some more.
Should be good to go. Don't forget to WEAR GLOVES.
