Postby werpknarly » 2017-Dec-Tue-20-Dec

new printerbot simple. was working well. now the bed will not heat. when i print or try to preheat bed the bed stays cold and a fail safe error shuts down printer when it detects the bed is not heating up. at the printerboard pins i get 2.5ohm resistance and when heat is called for i get 0.0 volts.. this is my 2nd printerbot, using repetitier .. could i have shut something off with repetier or slicer ???? should i return, or ??????????

I suggest going to this article https://printrbot.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002295686-Printrboard-G2-Getting-Started-Guide and scroll down 2/3 of the way through the page to the second answer by Dave from the Printrbot team. Apparently there are some steps you need to take. I can't help you much because I don't have the Rev g board.

Brass threaded rods (5/16" X 18) & nuts for Z axis
GT2 belts & pulleys
Cable chain to reduce probability of fatigue failure in wires

PB fan mount + 40mm fan -- using printed mount adapter, not the E3D supplied fan
Injection molded extruder gears

Have used many pounds of T-Glase filament. Now also doing some work with Ninjaflex SemiFlex

Did you check to see if you had power at the Printrboard end of the bed wiring. It could be as simple as a missing connection or broken (check continuity) wire
