I just can't get a good feel from searching the forums or the site (my obtuseness during summer).
Can I replace the ceramic hot end with the Ubis 13S?
I know that my board is supported for my Simple Metal 1403.
If yes, do I need other parts? Considerations?

Yes, it's a drop in replacement.
