Auto-Level-Probe-Wires

So, I've purchased an Auto leveling probe and the three wires are black -> Brown -> Blue. Does anyone know which one is Voltage, Ground, and signal?

BN(brown) 12V

BK(black) output signal

BL(blue) ground

The probe's data sheet should tell you. There's nothing magic about wire colors. Somebody sat down. said enie meenie, and arbitrarily picked them.

What probe. make, model, source, part number?

And what printer? Printrbot doesn't use RAMPS, although their customers can replace the supplied Printrboard with one

I honestly have no idea what the model is- I bought it off Printerbot's website. It's the same that comes standard on all printerbots I believe- It has a yellow tip.

The only thing a person needs to know is, which way to hook that probe up correctly. To hook it up correctly align blue wire to black wire and press the connector together.

Why are the colors reversed?

If you mean blue and black, just assume that they were randomly assigned. New engineer? Just wanted to be different? Blue's their (most? least?) favorite color?
