Leg prosthetic knee covers

These were printed out in PLA. the client wanted ABS and I did some in ABS but convinced tgem to try PLA. they ended up preferring PLA.

So how do those work on a prosthetic knee? Do they come in moose sizes? Would work on my prosthetic (in the total replacement sense) right knee, which needs help? Seems like that little hook on the top might be painful.

Honestly, I am not sure. I get the occasional print job and this is one of them. they told me they are covers for a prosthetic leg they make, for the knee, so the person can bend down on their knee. I have not seen them in place though. I will ask for a picture of them installed.

Guess it won't work for me; wrong kind of prosthetic. I have a prosthetic knee joint (instead of a leg prosthetic) that still has moose skin and bone around it. Guess I'll have to stick to the foam knee pads, although maybe filaflex would work.

Cool pictures, though.
