I have no idea why this is working but it is. a kick ass Magma metal hot end running 3 mm with the stock stepper. wow.

Very nice!
did you have to make any mods to the firmware or was it plug and play? Did you glue the heater cartridge in?
Also where did you get the design for the extrusion motor? been looking for something similar but havent been able to find anything.

What's with the timing belt pulley at the end of the extruder motor shaft? Encoder feedback maybe...
